Hi, I'm Amanda, 

I'm a positive reinforcement-based trainer based in South Sydney, and I specialise in helping families with children and dogs live together safely and happily.

My journey into dog training  began back in 2016.  I was working as a dog walker at the time, and I found myself wanting to understand more - why dogs behaved the way they did, what their body language meant, and how I could better support them, especially the ones who struggled on walks.  That curiosity turned into a passion, and before long I was on the path to becoming a professional trainer.  Over the years, I've come to realise something crucial: families with kids need a completely different approach to dog training.

Today, I'm proud to be an approved professional with Kids Around Dogs, where I help children build safe, positive relationships with dogs through educations, empathy, and understanding.
