Dogs aren't toys - they're living, feeling animals with their own likes, dislikes and boundaries.
Just like people, dogs appreciate having choices and being treated with kindness and respect. When children learn how to approach, greet and interact with dogs in a way that dogs understand, they're more likely to build trust and develop a positive relationship.
In this fun, interactive class, children will discover how their own actions can influence a dog's behaviour. They'll learn why consent matters, how to recognise when a dog wants space, and how to interact in ways that help dogs feel safe, comfortable and confident.
Be becoming a Dog Ambassador, children learn to be advocates for dogs - promoting kindness, respect and understanding wherever they go.
Children will learn:

Course information:
Aimed at children 4 - 16yrs. Session is 60mins. Suitable for all children with or without a dog in the family.
