Children are, by far the most common victims of dog bites and statistics show 70% of bites come from dogs they know, their family or a friend's dog. Studies have shown that educating kids on how to act around dogs significantly increases appropriate behaviour and helps children to avoid putting themselves in risky situations. This is why I am offering kid friendly dog safety presentations, that teaches kids dog body language and dog safety in a fun way. The program is flexible and is suitable for children from 4 years to 14 years.
The presentation is about 50 mins long and is specifically designed to slot into the activity portion of group meetings. They will learn about basic dog body language, and how to communicate and interact with dogs safely.
